A Unique Natural and Cultural Landscape
Peressini seats are shaped in our factory in Corno di Rosazzo, a small town in eastern Friuli, surrounded by green hills and famous vineyards, with a history dating back to ancient Rome and a long tradition in wood and furniture craftsmanship. By the late 18th century, there were specialized workshops producing chairs. During the 19th century, numerous artisan families moved from the nearby Austro-Hungarian domain to our area, creating the first nucleus of what would become the Friulian “chair district.” The exchange and interaction between different cultures, from traditional craftsmanship to modern technology and design, characterize the birth of the area’s first industrial realities from the mid-20th century: this is how our story begins and continues every day towards the future.
